                 Andy Simon, Sr.,- owner of SIMON’S COMPETITION, located in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania—has long been associated with the world of speed and beauty.  Andy’s success in business and the love of racing helped him realize his goal of opening a professionally run, full service shop which specializes in improving the Performance, Appearance, and Reliability of Harley-Davidson motorcycles.  His dedication to racing is very evident to his business operation.  People from around the world seek out Andy for his knowledge and insight of performance for Harley-Davidsons.  Honesty and integrity have been some of the key building blocks to his success.

                 Andy Simon is no stranger to winning.  Andy is a dedicated racer who has set various records and won numerous championships in many forms of motor-sports including: AMA Motocross, WKA & IKF Karting, UVW Sprint Cars, and Drag-Racing both cars and motorcycles.  In 1993 Andy Simon began Drag-Racing Harleys.  By the end of 1993 he was holding the Super-Modified WORLD RECORD (9.06 ET @ 144.64 MPH) and had wrapped up the #2 Plate for 1994.  He was crowned “1993” E.C.R.A. “Rookie of the Year.”

                 In 1994 Andy became the first Super-Modified in the World to break into the 8 second bracket, breaking his own World Record and lowering it to 8.85 ET @ 149.27 MPH.  In 1994 Andy Simon won the E.C.R.A. World Championship!  Simon Racing also won the prestigious “Best Appearing Crew” award.

                 1995 brought unbelievable performances to the Pro-Gas class.  Andy Simon broke his own record at every single event and in the process lowered his own World Record to 8.62 ET @ 151.77 MPH.  Andy Simon became the Worlds First ECRA Legal Non Pro-Stock Harley to break 150 MPH in the quarter mile!  Andy Simon won his second consecutive World Championship in 1995!

                 In 1996 Andy decided to run a limited schedule due to the demands of operating a new business.  Andy still managed to make a few races and take some event wins as well.  To add to his list of awards, Andy Simon (SIMON Racing) won yet another “Best Appearing Crew” award (1996 A.H.D.R.A.).

                 In the Spring of 1997, the decision to expand the business operations put a stop to Andy’s drag-racing efforts for the year.  From 1998 to 2005 Andy Simon had done extensive research and development for new performance products and services for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
